    This type of anchor windlass is driven by marine diesel engine. The diesel engine driven anchor windlass is more convenient than electric or hydraulic driven anchor windlass, because it does not need electricity or hydraulic power unit.It is more dependant when installed on fore deck, it requires only diesel oil to drive the anchor windlass. Normally it is suitable for anchor windlass chain diameter 12.5mm to 48mm.
